Who We Are

A welcoming church intentionally building relationships with God and others by sharing the love of Jesus, worshipping, and Bible teaching.

Church@109 is located at 109 Te Heuheu Street in the heart of downtown Taupo, not far from the beautiful lake.  We gather together every week, on Sunday, to praise and worship God, to encourage and care for one another, to pray together, to share communion, to present the good news of salvation and to receive instruction from God through the teaching of His Word, the clear message of the Bible.

Children are important at Church@109.   We offer a children's program, Kids Under Construction, for ages 3-13 during the sermon at both services.   We enjoy connecting as a church family Sunday after services with a cup of tea or coffee in the church cafe and outside activities and play for the kids.

We desire to see our people grow through the Sunday morning messages, small group studies, children's programs, youth groups, conversations with each other, serving together, prayer, pastoral counseling, and personal Bible study.  Every person within Church@109 has a special God given role, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Kids Under Construction

Teaching and encouraging children in their faith is very important to us.  On Sunday mornings kids ages 3-13 are able to join Kids Under Construction classes after worship and during the sermon.  There are 2 different classes offered for the various age groups.  They discuss a Bible story, pray together, play, and often do a craft together or sing songs to reinforce the lesson.
